Spring is late over here. It hasn't even begun. That's why I've decided to let it in my home thanks to yarn! Remember I told you yesterday I was preparing a surprise for you last weekend? Here it is.
Nice aren't they? I wanted to celebrate my 10 published patterns and thank you for your support. So the pattern for those is free: download now (or you can check out the Spring Flower Washcloths page on Ravelry)
You can either use cotton to make dishcloths/washcloths with them or any other fiber to make blanket squares. They are each 8x8" if knitted to gauge. Maybe you even think about knitting a bunch for charity? Knit a Square is taking this size squares.
Colorwork is only using 3 colors and is completely charted.
A written introduction will help you use the chart and give you several useful tips.
Yarn requirements (for set of 3): 150 yards of background color, 50 yards of contrasting color 1 and 30 yards of contrasting color 2.
Tools: Size US 7 / 4.5 mm straight or circular needle (or size to get gauge if it matters to you); tapestry needle; scissors; (optional: 2 markers if you want to mark the right and left borders).
Please note: It’s not because the pattern is free that you are allowed to copy it, please link to this page instead.
Hope you'll have fun making those!
