Sleeping Draught Shawl knitting pattern.

circular pi shawl lace weight
Sleeping Draught Shawl  is the first release in a series of patterns inspired by Potions from the Harry Potter universe. You already know that I'm a big Harry Potter fan right? Remember... I'm playing in the Harry Potter knit and crochet house cup on Ravelry.

Knitting up this shawl is relaxing enough to fight insomnia the following night. It's knitted mostly in stockinette with eyelets on increase rows and an easy lace edging with lovely leaves. Knitted up at a very loose gauge and in lace weight yarn this shawl will stay with you all summer.

My sample was made in Katia Jaipur, a very soft cotton yarn that comes in fabulous colorways. Of course you may knit it in any lace weight yarn.
